Reking provides a wide range of dryer fabric products for most paper grades including woven, spiral, standard and high-temperature designs with a variety of seams.

The dryer fabrics are weaved with double flat MD yarns and round CMD yarns which are both with excellent resistance to hydrolysis. The weave design provides large contact area and ensures excellent heat dissipation.

The dryer section

After leaving the press section the paper goes into the dryer section, where through the supply of heat from the steam heated cylinders the paper web is subjected to further drying. Eventually it will have 5% humidity.

The main task of the drying fabric is to keep the paper in contact with the mantle of the cylinder so as to ensure maximum heat transfer. Additionally drying fabric leads the web through the dryer section, prevents the sheet from detachment from the cylinder under the influence of centrifugal force and distributes torque to all cylinders.

The challenge for drying fabric is to provide them with property and long operating life with such unfavorable conditions.

After leaving from the dryer section, the paper web goes into calender to give it the desired quality.
